FAQs
01. How can I determine my grand rounds attendance and how many CME credits I've earned?
- Log in to https://ucla.cloud-cme.com/Form.aspx?FormID=54 with your email and password connected with your account (UCLA, UCLA Health, Harbor-UCLA, and VA Employees: Please sign in with SSO Credentials).
- At the top blue banner, click on “My CME” and scroll down to “transcript” to see a list of grand rounds you have attended
02. How do I obtain CME credit?
CME attendance can only be recorded 60 minutes before the course start time, during the course, and up to 120 minutes after the course end time. Of note, this is a rule to remain in compliance with the UCLA Center for Continuing Professional Development.
After completing the Qualtrics survey, you will be directed to a QR code and grand rounds ID number that can be used to log your attendance. You can use the cloud cme app to scan the QR code OR log in via text messaging. Of note, these methods will no longer work after 2 hours upon completion of grand rounds.
03. How can I use text messaging to track my attendance?
Pair your mobile number to your account by texting your email address associated with your CME account to (866) 875-4686. You will receive a text notification indicating your phone number has been updated. Send the course ID for the grand rounds provided at the end of the survey via text to (866) 875-4686 within 2 hours of the completion of the grand rounds course to log your attendance.
04. How can I use the QR code to track my attendance?
- Download the “cloudcme” app and log into your account.
- Once presented with a QR code, you can select “scan attendance” in the app.
- You will receive confirmation that this was accepted.
05. How do I give feedback about a grand rounds presenter?
You will be offered a link to a Qualtrics survey during the presentation. This survey will also be emailed to you at the account you used to register for the presentation if you prefer to complete it on a different date. Of note, though the survey may be completed at a different date, CME credit must be obtained within 2 hours of the event completion
06. Who can I email about questions regarding grand rounds or if I want to be added to the Grand Rounds listserv?
Please email semelgrandrounds@mednet.ucla.edu with any questions related to Semel Grand Rounds
